De Panne herdenkt nog tot 3 oktober deze historische evacuatie aan het begin van WOII met een tentoonstelling, themawandeling en concert. Oorspronkelijk was een herdenking gepland in 2020, op de 80ste verjaardag, maar om de welkbekende reden werd die uitgesteld.
